Job Description
- Develop strategic category plans by analyzing market insights and translating them into actionable strategies at corporate and segment levels.
- Manage and foster strong relationships with retailers’ product teams, vendors’ key account/trade marketing teams, and internal data science teams.
- Develop deep understanding of retail trading, commercial, and category management environment to identify business issues and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists to collect, analyze and interpret complex data related to market trends, customer behavior, and competitors.
- Leverage data-driven insights to propose solutions and optimize campaign performance.
- Deploy customer-centric category management processes, ensuring collaboration and compliance with vendors.
- Work with data scientists to build and evaluate campaign models for optimizing marketing strategies.
- Independently manage projects, organize data and information to assess needs, evaluate options, and compile insights into presentable work products.
- Contribute to team’s efforts by achieving related results and participating in various projects as required, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of work experience in a related field, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication Arts, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proactive, self-driven, and willing to take initiative and tackle challenges with a positive attitude.
- Trade Plan, Promotion plan in Retailers, Trading Director (Aeon, 99 Speed, Watson, Village, Jaya Grocer) or Data Agency world panel (Neilsen, Kantar), DA service retail
- Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of internet trends, customer behavior and technology-savvy to adapt to latest digital tools.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Experience working closely with data science teams is a plus.
